Paper and Size
Photos on the BauerFoto site are hand-printed originals. All black and white photos are printed on fine art fiber paper (such as Ilford), color photos are printed on Kodak (or better) color paper. Fine art fiber paper involves special printing and handling - most commercial photo stores print on glossy RC-based paper. RC paper provides good quality, however Fiber paper is superior to RC for two reasons: its emulsion is part of the paper, vs. RC (resin coated) papers that simply have a layer on top; it is also "archival quality" paper - this means it will last longer before fading or degrading. We also recommend using "Cotton Rag" matte board when framing. Plain paper mats contain acids that can discolor a photo over time. It's worth the investment.

Size is based on paper size, however each image size will vary slightly depending on how it has been enlarged/cropped. For example, 11x14 paper will have an "image size" of approximately 10.5 x 13 inches.

Why are Some Photos only 5x7 (or 8x10)?
The majority of our photos are taken with a 35mm camera. As a photo is enlarged, film grain becomes visible, and is more apparent depending on the film speed used (e.g., 400 is grainer than 100), shutter speed (slight motion can make photos appear blurred/grainy), and processing time (as development time increases, silver halide crystals make larger 'clumps' of grain on the film. 35mm photos look fair to fine at 16x20 enlargement. Delivery Time
Once your order is received from CCNow, we will send your photo. If we do not have a copy in stock, we will print one to order. This may take 1-2 weeks longer than the typical delivery time. We thank you for your patience.

  • an image - click to see larger image
  • a name
  • size options
  • a "Buy" button
Images on the purchasing page can be "Enlarged by Clicking", so you may continue to view images and browse through this page. When you want to make a purchase,
  1. select the size (using the radio buttons) and
  2. click the "Buy" button to the right
Clicked Wrong Button by Accident
Not to worry. To remove items from your cart and/or return to BauerFoto with these steps:
  1. Change the Quantity to zero (under "Qty" highlight the number + replace)
  2. Click "Refresh Totals
  3. Click "Add More Items" to return to BauerFoto or "Pay & Finish" to purchase items
Can't Find a Photo You may have to scroll to find the image, as not all of the images fit on one screen. If you cannot find an image after searching, please let us know by emailing us:

Is My Purchase Secure? CCNow provides a "Secure Checkout" service (our last check showed they use VERISIGN, a reputable company for secure on-line transactions).
